In celebration of this year’s National Sport Day and to promote a healthy lifestyle, RC AL MANA conducted an inter-company football tournament and bowling event on 11 February 2020.
The intercompany football tournament was held in Al Sadd Sports Club wherein eight (8) teams from different departments, subsidiaries and project sites had participated:
- Doha Oasis Project Site Team
- Access Control Department
- Survey Team
- Finance Department
- Lusail Commercial Project Site Team
- QIMC Project Site Team
- Almana Glass Team
- Ministry of Defense Project Site Team
The semifinals happened between Set A – Survey Team versus Doha Oasis Team, and Set B – Access Control versus Finance Department. The Doha Oasis Project Site team beat the Access Control Team and was awarded as the champions for this year’s tournament.
As for the bowling tournament, RC Al Mana staff enjoyed a fun filled night playing in Qatar Bowling Center wherein ten (10) teams from different departments and project sites competed to get the first prize. RC Al Mana’s Quantity Surveying Team won the championship, followed by the HR Department Team and QIMC Site Team.
This event is an annual tradition in which the employees of RC Al Mana group of companies take part in promoting sports and healthy lifestyle through this kind of active games and sports activities.
