Qatar Handball Sports Complex is one of the most modern and technically advanced handball stadiums in the Middle East.
The development was completed as a design and build project by RC Al Mana within 14 months.
The Qatar Handball Sports Complex comprises a total built-up area of approximately 40,000 m² and stands on a 30,000 m² area of softscaping, water features, parking spaces and paved walkways.
Built to host professional tournaments and accommodate large crowds, the facility consists of a 5,350 seat indoor stadium, which also features two practice courts with 500 seats, as well as back of house facilities suitable for hosting international sports events.
In addition, the Qatar Handball Sports Complex houses 60 5-star standard suite rooms for player accommodation and a 25-meter long four-lane swimming pool.
The complex is also the Qatar Handball Association Headquarters and serves as the home ground and main training base for all of Qatar’s National Handball Teams.
