Souq Waqif Cinema & Underground Carpark

The Souq Waqif Cinema and Underground Car Park project provides hundreds of car park spaces for visitors to Qatar’s world-famous tourist hub Souq Waqif and its subterranean cinemas.

Qatar’s popular central souq is located in the heart of its cosmopolitan capital and symbolizes a traditional Arabic destination for selling garments, spices, handicrafts and souvenirs.

The development allows visitors to conveniently park their vehicles adjacent to Souq Waqif and direct access to enjoy the experience of Doha’s most popular restaurant hubs and underground movie theatres.

With a total built-up area of 44,248 m² the development houses four public cinemas and one luxury cinema for VIP guests.

Bordered by Al Souq Street on the east and Al Asmakh Street on the west, the car park development consists of two underground parking levels with the capacity to accommodate approximately 250 vehicles.

Above the car park, the ground floor is an open landscape area with amenities such as parks and facilities for performance events.
